Zum Abschluss verschaffen wir uns einen Überblick über anstehende Termine und Events!

Da ist sie schon wieder vorbei… die Microsoft Ignite 2019 hat am letzten Freitag ihr Ende gefunden. Wir haben den Moment genutzt und uns mit drei MVP Kollegen zusammengesetzt und die Woche einmal rückblickend betrachtet. Dabei haben wir mit Oliver Kieselbach über Neuerungen wie dem Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) gesprochen. Manfred Helber hat uns die News rund um Microsofts Hybrid Solutions, wie Azure Stack Hub und Co. näher erläutert. Der Experte für die Azure Themen in der Runde war Marcel Zehner, der zudem von seinen eigenen Sessions berichten konnte.

Passend zum, nun endlich erfolgten, Release des Windows Server 2019 haben wir uns wieder einen Special Guest in den GeekSprech Podcast eingeladen. Diesmal dabei ist Thomas Maurer, Microsoft MVP und Lead Architect bei der itnetX AG in der Schweiz.

Mitte 2017 wird Microsoft ein neues Produkt namens Azure Stack auf den Markt bringen. Unternehmen können damit Azure-Dienste im eigenen Rechenzentrum einsetzen. Dell, HPE und Lenovo werden dafür vorkonfigurierte Server Systeme anbieten.

Hinter Azure Stack verbirgt sich eine Sammlung von Technologien, die Komponenten, Connectoren und Interfaces von Microsofts Public Cloud Azure für den Betrieb in einer Private Cloud bereitstellen. Dabei umfasst Azure Stack das identische Front-End mit Portal wie Azure. Dazu eine PowerShell-Scripting-Umgebung und den Azure Resource Manager für die Provisionierung.
